Sudanese Asylum Seeker Jailed for Brutal Attack in Henley
Ba Dak Koul, a 22-year-old Sudanese asylum seeker, was sentenced to two years behind bars at Oxford Crown Court on January 15. The HMP Bullingdon inmate pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm without intent after viciously attacking Mohammed Qadr in Henley-on-Thames last July.
Repeat Offender: Second Violent Assault Lands Him in Prison
This isn’t Koul’s first violent offence. In 2024, he served 16 months for repeatedly punching a man at a Cardiff hostel, leaving the victim bleeding as the attack spilled onto the street. The violent outburst reportedly began after Koul refused to turn down the TV volume.
