Graveyard Sting: Drug Dealer Caught Hiding £450 of Dope in His Pants
On October 25 last year, Rugby’s CCTV spotted three suspicious blokes lurking in a graveyard. Police quickly swooped and detained the trio.
Drug Haul Hidden in Underpants
At the station, 19-year-old Yaneez Ahmad shocked officers when a search uncovered 45 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin stuffed down his underpants. The stash had a street value of around £450.
Ahmad, from Wentworth Road, Rugby, was slapped with charges of possession with intent to supply both crack and heroin.
Three Years Inside for Ahmad
Last Friday, May 5, Warwick Crown Court sentenced Ahmad to three years in a young offenders institute.
Police Warn Drug Users and Dealers
Detective Constable Matthew Rapkins said: “Anyone who has the cheek to attempt to deal crack, heroin or any other dangerous substances in our town can expect to meet us, sooner or later.
“I hope those who continue to support misery and exploitation by buying illegal drugs enjoy the knowledge that the underpants, and the body parts that dwell within them, are the drug dealer’s favoured storage method – and their wraps are seldom airtight.”
