Man Charged with Firearms and Drugs Offences After Police Bust
A 53-year-old man has been charged with multiple firearms and drug offences following a police swoop.
Firearms and Drugs Seized
Bryn Cowles of Love Lane, Morden, faces serious charges including three counts of possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and two counts of possession of class B drugs – amphetamines and cannabis.
Court Appearance and Bail
Cowles appeared in court on Monday, 6 April. He was granted bail ahead of his next hearing at Kingston Crown Court on Friday, 1 May 2020.
Police Operation Leads to Arrest
The charges stem from an arrest on 4 April by officers from the South West Command Unit’s Tasking Team, who are cracking down on criminal activity in the area.
