Teenage Bomb-Maker, 14, Denies Terror Charges in London Court

A teenage boy made bombs in his bedroom aiming to become an Islamic ‘martyr’, a London court revealed. The 14-year-old from Eastleigh, Hampshire, appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court wearing a grey tracksuit to deny charges of preparing terrorist acts.

The youngster stood in court as his mum sat nearby, watching nervously. He confirmed his name and age and told Chief Magistrate Emma Arbuthnot he understood the proceedings. His mother even asked the clerk to ‘put the charge in plain English’ to make sure they got it all.
