Police are urgently seeking witnesses following a serious crash on the M27 eastbound at around 10:30pm on Saturday, 1 February 2025. The incident occurred between junctions two and three when a silver Mercedes SLK collided with a stationary black VW Golf parked on the hard shoulder.

The male driver of the VW Golf, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital with severe and potentially life-threatening injuries. His condition remains critical.

A 44-year-old woman from Wraysbury, Windsor and Maidenhead, has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and causing serious injury by dangerous driving in connection with the crash.

Authorities are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles on the eastbound M27 prior to the incident to come forward. Dashcam footage could be crucial to the ongoing investigation.
