Tragedy struck shortly after 4.15pm on Sunday, 16 April, when a woman in her 30s was fatally hit by a motorcycle on Epping New Road. She was reportedly crossing the road as the motorcycle sped from Robin Hood roundabout towards Wake Arms roundabout.
A 59-year-old man from Waltham Abbey was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been released under investigation as police continue their enquiries.
