Two Arrested After Woman Stabbed to Death in Margate
Police are hunting witnesses following the murder of a woman in Margate. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing.
Early Morning Attack Shocks Quiet Street
At around 3:10 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, Kent Police were called to a private home on Elfrida Close after reports of an assault. Emergency crews found a woman in her 30s with stab wounds. Despite efforts, she was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Two Held as Investigation Intensifies
- A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of murder by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
- A woman in her 20s was also detained on suspicion of murder and assisting a criminal.
- Both remain in police custody as inquiries continue.
- The victim and suspects are believed to have known each other.
