A devastating crash on the A38 near Lichfield has claimed the life of a 7-year-old boy. The fatal collision occurred just after 5am on 7 March at the junction with the A5206.

Staffordshire Police have launched an urgent appeal for anyone who saw the crash or captured it on dashcam to come forward. The young boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

“His family have been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers,” the force confirmed.
