A deadly fire erupted late Saturday night at a detached three-bedroom bungalow on Northlands Road, Totton, resulting in the death of a woman. The blaze shocked the local community and caused severe damage to the property, valued at approximately £350,000.
Five fire engines from Totton and Redbridge stations were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters employed breathing apparatus, hose reels, and powerful jets to combat the flames. South Central Ambulance Service sent rapid response paramedics, double crew ambulances, and a Hazard Area Response Team to assist.
