Police have conducted further arrests in the ongoing Golders Green arson investigation. Three more suspects are now in custody following the firebomb attack targeting Jewish community ambulances.
The three males, aged 20, 19, and 17, were detained early on 1 April at separate homes across East London. Two of the suspects are British nationals, while the third holds dual British-Pakistani nationality. They have been charged with conspiracy to commit arson with intent to endanger life. All three remain held at a London police station as investigations continue.
This latest development is connected to the frightening incident that occurred on 23 March at approximately 1:35 am. Four ambulances belonging to the volunteer ambulance service Hatzola, which operates in Golders Green, were deliberately set on fire in what is suspected to be a terror attack.
Prior to these arrests, two men were detained on 25 March in relation to the case but have since been released on bail until late April. The Metropolitan Police are continuing their efforts to uncover further details in this serious arson investigation.
