Knife-Wielding Teens Target Electric Bike at Croft Playing Fields
Drama unfolded at Croft Playing Fields on February 26 when a 16-year-old lad was threatened by two teens demanding his electric bike. At around 4.25pm, one of the attackers pulled a knife from his waistband and menaced the boy. A scuffle broke out, leaving the victim with a hand injury.
Police Nab Two Teens in Quick-fire Arrest
Wiltshire Police wasted no time, arresting two 16-year-olds over the brazen robbery.
- One suspect now faces charges including robbery, possession of a class B drug, and dangerous driving. He’s been released on conditional bail.
- The second remains in custody, held on suspicion of robbery and carrying an offensive weapon.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
“This was a frightening ordeal for the young victim, who was simply enjoying football before two males threatened him for his bike,” said Insp Jamie Brown.
Authorities are calling on anyone with information to get in touch and help bring justice.
