Police have launched a probe after a man was doused with a noxious substance in Tottenham, marking the second acid attack in London this week.
The London Ambulance Service was called at 6:38pm on Thursday, November 2nd, to Yarmouth Crescent, Tottenham N17, following reports that a man in his 30s had been sprayed with a harmful chemical. The victim was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital. Fortunately, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Witnesses say two men on a moped carried out the attack during what is believed to have been an attempted robbery. So far, no arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate and urge anyone with information to come forward.
