Teen Stabbed in Broad Daylight in Erith
Police were called at 8:49am on 2 January to Frobisher Road, Erith, after a 15-year-old boy was found with stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital, but thankfully his injuries are not life-threatening.
Youths ‘Jump’ Teen Outside Flats
The victim was in a grassy area outside a block of flats when a group of males suddenly attacked him without warning. The teenager managed to get inside a nearby building to seek help.
One Arrest Made but No Charges Yet
Officers arrested a 17-year-old nearby, but he was later released with no further action. Detectives continue to investigate and are pleading for witnesses to come forward.
Detective Constable Herkirt Kaur, South East Command Unit, said: “The location is overlooked by several tower blocks, so I’m sure many people heard the commotion and saw what happened. There is no place for violence and knife crime on our streets.
I need local people who saw the attack to get in touch. Please tell me what you know so we can identify those responsible for this horrific attack.”
