Manhunt Underway for Key Witness in Fatal Skip Yard Tragedy

Detectives have launched a desperate appeal to track down a man linked to a deadly accident at a Hounslow skip yard. They’ve named Bashar Al-Kadah, 30, as a crucial person of interest who vanished after the incident.

Who is Bashar Al-Kadah?

Met Police say Al-Kadah was last seen in Luton on 9 August 2025. Officers believe he has fled the UK to evade questions.

His whereabouts are now central to cracking the case of 34-year-old Yadvinder Satnam Singh. Singh was fatally struck by a front loader – a massive bit of plant machinery – at a yard on Station Approach, Greenford, at 7.27am on 7 August.

Six Months of Tireless Investigation

Despite paramedics’ frantic efforts, Singh died at the scene. A post-mortem revealed his death was caused by injuries consistent with a road traffic collision.

Detectives have spent half a year piecing together the tragedy. They’ve scoured phone records, bank transactions, and loads of CCTV footage.

Detective Constable Cynthia Da Silva said: “Yadvinder’s death was tragic, and our thoughts remain with his family and friends. We’re determined to bring answers to them and have carried out extensive enquiries to understand what happened that morning.

“Despite hundreds of hours of work, Al-Kadah remains missing. We ask anyone who recognises him or knows where he is to come forward immediately.”

Two Arrested but Now Released

In August last year, two men in their 40s were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter linked to the same incident. Both have since been released under investigation.
