Tragic Moped Crash in Enfield: Man in His 60s Dies
Police are hunting for witnesses after a fatal moped smash in Enfield last Friday evening.
Deadly Collision on Lea Valley Road
Officers were called around 7pm on 6 April following reports a moped had crashed into a tree on Lea Valley Road. The rider, a man believed to be in his 60s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
No Other Vehicles Involved
Initial investigations suggest the moped was heading westbound when it hit the tree. Police say no other vehicles appear to have been involved in the crash.
Police Appeal for Information
The victim’s next of kin have been informed. A post-mortem will be arranged. Officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command at Chadwell Heath are leading the investigation.
