Woman Cyclist Suffers Life-Changing Injuries in Battersea Lorry Crash
Police rushed to Battersea Bridge Road and Cheyne Walk at 8:15am on Thursday, 13 January following a smash involving a lorry and a female cyclist.
Cyclist in Her 30s Airlifted to Hospital
The woman, believed to be in her 30s, was seriously hurt and taken to hospital with life-changing injuries. Her next of kin have been informed.
Lorry Driver Remains at Scene as Investigation Continues
The lorry driver stayed put after the collision. The Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is digging into what happened. Detectives want to hear from any witnesses or drivers who were near the junction at the time.
