Bus Brawl Panic in Kirkby Sparks Police Probe

Merseyside Police have launched an investigation after a reported incident on a Stagecoach bus in Kirkby last Friday sparked chaos online. Social media claims said a man tried to abduct a child and then attacked the bus when removed. Police have since slammed those reports as false.

Three Men Ejected, One Assault Recorded

Officers were called to Whitefield Drive just after 6pm. They detained three men who were thrown off the bus following the disturbance. Police confirmed a common assault has been recorded involving a male victim but denied any attempted abduction or bus attack.

“We urge the public to avoid speculation while our investigation continues,” said Merseyside Police.

No Further Crimes Reported, Police Seek Witnesses

So far, no other crimes linked to the incident have been reported. The investigation remains open. Police are asking anyone with information to get in touch via Twitter DM @MerPolCC or anonymously through Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111, quoting reference 24000530929.
