Man Found Dead in Salisbury Toilets – Not Suspicious

Tragedy struck Salisbury early this morning when a 27-year-old local man was found dead in public toilets at Market Place. Police were called just before 4am after the ambulance service discovered the body.

Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers have now confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious. A large police cordon was put up while detectives carried out enquiries.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Authorities are informing the man’s family and are keen to speak to anyone who was in the Market Square area between 10:30pm last night and 4am this morning.

  • If you used the public toilets during this time, or were nearby, contact police immediately.
  • Call 101 and quote log number 17 of September 8.
