Man Arrested Over Attempted Murder in Galleywood Park Attack
Detectives swooped on a 19-year-old man this morning, Wednesday 3 June, in connection with an attempted murder in Galleywood.
Serious Assault Shocks Local Park
The victim, also 19, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after the violent assault in Chelmer Park at around 4:50pm on Tuesday 2 June.
Emergency Powers Activated
Police imposed a Section 60 order in the area last night, giving officers extra powers to stop and search as the investigation ramped up.
The arrested man, taken into custody in berkshire999.co.uk/where/chelmsford/" title="Chelmsford" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Chelmsford on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH), remains held as inquiries continue.
