A heartbreaking fire on Ellsworth Street, Bethnal Green, early Monday morning has left one person dead.
Firefighters Battle Tough Conditions
Fire crews raced to the scene just before 4am after emergency calls reported someone trapped inside the burning property. Braving extreme conditions with breathing apparatus, firefighters forced their way inside and found the victim. Sadly, London Ambulance Service crews confirmed the person was dead at the scene.

- Approximately 30 firefighters and officers tackled the blaze
