A notorious Greggs thief known as “Hamster” for his relentless stealing spree has finally been caught by police.
38 Raids, Nearly £2k Stolen in Just Six Weeks
Adam Gosling, 39, targeted the same Greggs in Greenford a staggering 38 times between December 30 and February 10. His sticky-fingered escapades amassed a whopping £1,817 in stolen goods.
Suspended Jail Sentence and Nationwide Greggs Ban
Gosling has been hit with a four-month jail sentence, suspended for one year. On top of that, he faces a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order banning him from all Greggs shops across England and Wales.
“His serial thefts left staff frustrated but justice has now been served,” said a Metropolitan Police spokesperson.
