Four Arrested After Spree of Violence Rocks Guildford's Park Barn
Surrey Police have swooped on four men following a string of violent incidents in Guildford’s Park Barn area on 10 December.
Windows Smashed, Tensions High
Officers were called to Southway, Guildford, at around 9:50am after reports of two men arguing outside a house. When police arrived, one man had fled, and two house windows were smashed.
Knife-Wielding Suspect Sparks Second Arrest
Just two hours later, at 11:50am, a member of the public spotted a man carrying a large bladed weapon in the same area. Police quickly intervened, arresting three men on the scene. A fourth suspect was nabbed soon after, and the weapon was recovered nearby.
Police Seek Witnesses to Connect the Dots
Surrey Police believe both incidents are linked and are confident no other suspects were involved. However, they urge anyone with info or who witnessed the events to come forward.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anything or has information about the incidents,” a police spokesperson said.
The arrested men, aged 17 to 27, were all detained in Guildford’s Park Barn area.
