A serious collision in Folkestone has left an elderly woman fighting for her life. Police are urgently seeking witnesses and dashcam footage to help determine the circumstances of the crash.
The incident occurred at approximately 5.45pm on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, at the busy junction of Horn Street and Church Road. A yellow Honda Jazz was turning into Horn Street when it collided with a grey Audi A4 travelling along Church Road.
Emergency services, including the South East Coast Ambulance Service, responded promptly to the scene. The woman, believed to be in her 80s, was taken to a hospital in London where she remains in critical condition.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle prior to the crash to come forward. Those with dashcam footage or any relevant information are asked to contact the police, quoting reference 10-1268.
