Louis Price, a man in his 30s, has tragically died following a suspected attack at his home on Christmas Day in the quiet village of Norton Canes, Staffordshire. The shocking incident has left the close-knit community deeply shaken.

In the early hours of December 25, Louis was found seriously injured at the house he shared with his parents on Elm Road. Emergency services were called at around 3:25 am after reports of a cardiac arrest. Paramedics attempted to save him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 33-year-old woman from nearby Cannock has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody as Staffordshire Police continue their investigation. The property on Elm Road is currently under forensic examination, with a police cordon expected to remain in place for several days.

A neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous, said, “We heard something serious around 4:30 am. Emergency services were everywhere.” She added, “Louis’s parents were away on holiday in the Maldives over Christmas and must have been told while abroad. They will be absolutely devastated. My heart goes out to them.” The neighbour described the village as “shocked and saddened” by the news, calling the tragedy “beyond belief.”

Friends and community members have shared heartfelt tributes on social media. One wrote, “Such a beautiful guy. You didn’t deserve this. Always there when I needed you! Thanks for having my back and making me laugh!” Another added, “Rest in peace, Louis. Proper shocked me, this one.”

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
