Chaos erupted in Reading town centre on Saturday as a massive 60-metre crane tipped over and slammed against the old Primark building on West Street.

Thames Valley Police scrambled to the scene just before 2pm. Officers immediately evacuated nearby shops and homes to keep people safe.
