Huge Fire Crew Race to Tackle Raging Blaze in Ashford
Kent Fire and Rescue Service sprang into action just after 3am on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Seven fire engines and a height vehicle thundered to the scene of a fierce house fire in Ashford.
Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and blasted powerful high-pressure jets of water, pulling from nearby hydrants to try and tame the roaring flames.
Two Treated for Smoke Inhalation at Scene
Emergency crews from South East Coast Ambulance Service treated two people suffering smoke inhalation right there on site. Kent Police were also quick to arrive, helping keep the scene safe.
Cause of Fire Still a Complete Mystery
