Police have launched a murder investigation after a brutal stabbing in Burley in Wharfedale left a man dead.
Man, 30, Dies After Stab Attack in Burley
The victim, a 30-year-old man, was discovered with a stab wound on Main Street near Iron Row at 9.56am on Sunday. He was rushed to hospital but sadly died this afternoon.
Suspect Re-Arrested Over Fatal Stabbing
A 30-year-old man, initially arrested nearby for attempted murder, has now been re-arrested on suspicion of murder following the victim’s death. Two 23-year-old women remain in custody, suspected of conspiracy to murder.
Police Hunt Witnesses to ‘Targeted Attack’
Specialist officers are backing the victim’s family as they investigate what is believed to be a targeted assault. Police urgently want anyone who saw suspicious activity around Main Street and Iron Row on Sunday morning to come forward.
