Police launched a major manhunt after a man was critically stabbed in Burley in Wharfedale early Sunday.
Three Arrested in Brutal Stabbing
A man in his 30s was found bleeding heavily on the street with a stab wound. Bradford District CID quickly arrested a 30-year-old local man on suspicion of attempted murder. Two women, both 23, were also held, suspected of conspiracy to murder. All three remain in custody and are being questioned.
Victim in Critical Condition as Police Probe Continues
The attack happened at 9.56am near the junction of Main Street and Iron Row. The victim is fighting for life in hospital. Police have cordoned off the area as they dig into the incident.
Police Urge Locals to Speak Up
“This was a very serious, isolated, targeted assault,” said DCI Michael Cox. “We have all the necessary resources in place to investigate. We understand the community’s concern, but urge anyone who saw suspicious activity near Main Street and Iron Row earlier today to come forward.”
