Thames Valley Police are urgently hunting a key witness after a shocking road smash in Farnham Common.
Man on Bike Critically Injured After Crash with White Vauxhall Van
On the evening of Tuesday, 10 March 2026, at around 7:10pm, a white Vauxhall van carrying ladders on its roof collided with a man stationary on a bicycle on Victoria Road.
The cyclist, a man in his forties, was seriously hurt with a head injury that landed him in hospital. Thankfully, he has now been discharged.
Two Slough Men Arrested Over Assault and Dangerous Driving
- A 22-year-old man faces charges including assault causing actual bodily harm, attempted murder, dangerous driving, hit and run, firearm possession without a licence, and theft.
- A 43-year-old man is also under arrest for attempted murder, dangerous driving, and failing to stop after the crash.
Both suspects have been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries until 4 June 2026.
Witness Appeal: E-Scooter Rider Urged to Contact Police
“I am appealing for witnesses following this incident to please come forward,” said Detective Constable Louise Sharples.
“A person on an e-scooter stopped to help the victim on Victoria Road immediately after the collision. I urge them to get in touch as they could have vital information.”
“If anyone was in the area and has dash-cam footage, please check it for anything that may help our investigation.”
