Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Faringdon

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Faringdon. At around 6am yesterday (14/7), there was a collision between a silver car and a HGV on the A420 between Faringdon and Littleworth. The driver of the car, a 27-year-old man, died at the scene. His next of kin has been informed. Investigating officer, PC Mark Dunne, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, based at Three Mile Cross, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to this tragic incident. “Our thoughts are with the family at this sad and difficult time. “I would also ask motorists who were in the area around the time of the collision to check their dash-cam footage in case it may have captured anything that could assist us with the investigation. “Anyone with information can call police on 101, quoting reference 43190214007
