AREA: Low Moor, Bradford, West Yorkshire A person has died following an incident on the railway near Low Moor station in Bradford, British Transport Police have confirmed. Emergency services were called to an area of the railway line close to the station shortly after 11.30pm on Thursday, 17 September following reports of a casualty on the tracks. British Transport Police officers attended alongside paramedics, but despite the emergency response, the person was pronounced dead at the scene. 
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “We were called to an area of the line close to Low Moor station shortly after 11.30pm on Thursday 17 September following reports of a casualty on the tracks. “Officers attended, along with paramedics, but sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.” Police confirmed the circumstances are not being treated as suspicious. A file will now be prepared for the coroner.
