A 50-year-old man from Eastleigh, Peter Sibanda of Twyford Drive, has been charged with sexual assault and two counts of engaging in sexual communications with a child. The charges follow incidents reported on the evening of Saturday, 5 June in Wells Place and Factory Road, Eastleigh.
Allegations Involve Teen Girls
Police say Sibanda approached teenage girls, inappropriately touching a 16-year-old and making sexual remarks towards girls aged 13 and 14. The cases came to light following reports to local authorities.
Southampton Crown Court Appearance
Peter Sibanda appeared at Southampton Crown Court on Wednesday 10 June. He was remanded in custody and is due to next appear at the court on Tuesday 7 July.
Police Urge Vigilance
Local police continue their investigations, appealing for anyone with information about the incidents on Wells Place and Factory Road to come forward.
