A passenger is fighting for his life following a serious collision in Bradford on Saturday morning. Police have confirmed one man remains in critical condition while a 33-year-old driver has been arrested.

West Yorkshire Police reported that officers were called at 9am to Great Horton Road, near the junction with All Saints Road. The crash involved a black Toyota Yaris and a stationary white BMW X5.

The 30-year-old male passenger of the Toyota was airlifted to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the Yaris driver, aged 33, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving. He has since been released on bail.

Roads Policing Unit detectives are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam or CCTV footage of the Toyota Yaris before the incident to come forward.
