Metropolitan Police have launched a murder investigation after a fatal stabbing in Thamesmead, SE28, on the evening of Saturday, November 26.
Officers were called shortly after 6pm to Titmus Avenue following reports of a stabbing. Emergency services, including LAS paramedics, attended the scene and attempted to save the victim. Unfortunately, the person died at the scene just before 7pm.
A large police cordon has been established around the area. Yellow and white tents have been erected outside the property as officers conduct a thorough search for evidence.
The Metropolitan Police have been approached for further comment regarding the ongoing investigation.
