A man in his late 30s was found seriously injured on Kingsland High Street, Dalston, at around 5 a.m. on April 12. Emergency services responded to reports of a head injury near Dalston Junction London Overground station.

Paramedics performed CPR at the scene, but the man was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated, “Officers are working to confirm the man’s identity and notify next of kin.”

The death is being treated as unexpected, and investigations are ongoing. No arrests have been made so far. Police have established a scene and implemented road closures as they continue their inquiries.

Kingsland High Street is currently closed in both directions between Balls Pond Road and Sandringham Road. Bus routes 67, 76, 149, 243, and 488 are being diverted. According to Inrix, traffic is moving smoothly despite the diversions.
