Rumours suggest the incident was linked to a gang dispute, with witnesses reporting the use of a baseball bat and a knife. However, police have not disclosed specific details about the event.
Officers quickly sealed off Merryoak Road while scenes of crime teams conducted thorough investigations. During the response, a vehicle was removed from the scene by police contractors using a low loader, adding to the unfolding situation.
One individual was rushed to hospital by land ambulance. The extent of their injuries has not been confirmed. Emergency services at the scene included an ambulance and a rapid response paramedic.
