Police, firefighters, and paramedics swarmed the popular playground at Toddler’s Cove on Whitehall Road in Canterbury this afternoon following an urgent call. The usually peaceful area quickly transformed into a busy scene as emergency services responded rapidly.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) arrived at the location at 12:32pm to support the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb). A KFRS spokesperson confirmed, “One fire engine attended.” The firefighters left the scene just before 1:20pm, while police and medical teams continued to manage the situation.

Whitehall Road near Toddler’s Cove remains cordoned off as police and paramedics stay on site. Kent Fire and Rescue Service stated, “We were called at 12.32pm to assist SECAmb in Whitehall Road, Canterbury. One fire engine attended. Please contact SECAmb for any further details.”
