Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) rushed to a building fire on Townwall Street, Dover. Four fire engines arrived as crews donned breathing apparatus to search the property and attacked the blaze with hose reel jets.
By 9.30pm, firefighters had scaled down operations after making good progress. Only two engines remained to damp down hotspots.
Thankfully, no casualties have been reported. Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) were also on site assisting.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
