A man in his 60s has died after being hit by a lorry on the A4 Bath Road in Marlborough this morning (04/12).

Police were called to the scene at around 10:40am after a pedestrian was struck by an eastbound lorry near the Golding Avenue junction. The victim was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The lorry driver remained at the scene. No arrests have been made so far. The A4 is fully closed in both directions as officers carry out a detailed investigation.

Wiltshire Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to get in touch immediately. Call the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597, quoting log 107 dated 04/12/25. Alternatively, email SCIT@wiltshire.police.uk.

Inquiries are ongoing to identify the victim’s next of kin.
