Wiltshire Police are urgently appealing for witnesses following the tragic death of a 17-year-old boy in Westbury this afternoon.

Officers were called to Lower Westbury Road at around 1:30pm on Monday after reports of a boy found unconscious. Paramedics arrived quickly and attempted to save him, but sadly the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police have confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious. The boy’s next of kin have been informed, and authorities have expressed their condolences, stating, “Our thoughts are with his family at this incredibly sad time.”

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is urged to contact Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting log number 185 of today’s date.
