A terrifying incident took place between 4pm and 4.30pm on Monday, 16 January, when a 16-year-old girl was walking along a path behind the commercial units on River Way, near the Enham Arch roundabout in Andover.

As she reached the tunnel between the commercial units and the river, a stranger suddenly approached her, grabbed her arm, and forced her to touch him. Fortunately, the girl managed to break free and ran to safety.

Following the assault, police launched an urgent investigation and have now released two CCTV images of a man seen near the area at the time of the attack. Authorities believe this individual may hold vital information regarding the incident.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who recognises the man or has any information to contact the police on 101, quoting reference number 44230021013. Tips can also be submitted via the police website.
