Conor McCarthy, a man with no fixed address, has been charged with the murder of 57-year-old Peter Littlefair. McCarthy is scheduled to appear at Willesden Magistrates Court this Saturday, 18 March.

Emergency services were called to Chester Drive at 2:02am on Thursday, 16 March, following reports of a fight outside Peter Littlefair’s home. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene promptly.

Paramedics attempted to save Peter, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and was later charged as Conor McCarthy. The investigation is being led by detectives from the Metropolitan Police Specialist Crime Command.

Peter Littlefair’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from trained officers.

The police have appealed to the public for any information related to the incident. Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting CAD 523/16Mar. Alternatively, anonymous information can be provided to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
