Lee Andrews, the husband of celebrity Katie Price, went missing nearly a week ago after failing to board a flight back to the United Kingdom.
Authorities from Dubai police and British officials are involved in the ongoing investigation, with growing concerns about whether Lee has been kidnapped or is deliberately hiding.
The timeline of events raises several questions. Lee’s last confirmed contact was a disturbing FaceTime call on May 13, during which he appeared hooded and bound inside a van. During the call, he whispered, “they’re coming for me” before the connection was abruptly cut off. Prior to this, Lee had sent selfies from Dubai airport but did not board his scheduled flight to London.
Conflicting reports have since emerged. Some rumours suggest that Lee is hiding in a dilapidated villa in Dubai, using a burner phone to avoid both Katie Price and the authorities. However, Katie Price has stated that she has no knowledge of his whereabouts and fears that he may have been abducted.
Lee’s family has reported him missing to the British Embassy, which has prompted an investigation involving the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
