Corey Ledgister, 51, from Enfield, is currently in custody after police uncovered a significant stash of fake guns, ammunition, and drugs at his residence.

On Thursday, 9 April, officers from the Metropolitan Police conducted a raid on Ledgister’s home on Farndale Avenue. During the operation, they seized 13 counterfeit Glock-style pistols, 13 extended magazines, and 640 rounds of ammunition.

Following the discovery, Ledgister was charged on Friday, 10 April, with multiple offences. These include 13 counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life, and possession of an offensive weapon in both public and private places. Additionally, he faced a drug charge after cannabis was found at the property.

The 51-year-old remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear at Stratford Magistrates Court on Saturday, 11 April.

Acting Detective Chief Inspector Damian Hill of the Met’s Specialist Crime Command commented on the operation, stating, “Tackling violence and the threat of counterfeit firearms is one we take incredibly seriously. I am pleased that our operation has resulted in dangerous weapons taken off our streets.”
