A 17-year-old boy was rushed to hospital in critical but stable condition following a stabbing in Canning Town on Saturday night.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:35 PM on Saturday, 1 March 2025, on Hallsville Road, Canning Town. The victim suffered multiple stab wounds during the attack.

The Metropolitan Police sealed off Hallsville Quarter in Hallsville Road as part of their investigation. Bloodstains and scattered items were observed within the cordoned area near Tian Tian Market and Lidl. A full crime scene remains in place while officers continue their inquiries.

Six suspects have been arrested in connection with the stabbing. Police are urgently investigating the circumstances surrounding the violent attack and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Anyone with information or CCTV footage is urged to contact police on 101, quoting CAD 6234/01Mar, or to report anonymously via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.

Authorities are working to uncover the motive behind the attack. An increased police presence will remain in the area to reassure concerned residents. Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
