Colindale was shaken by a shocking acid attack on a family, resulting in severe injuries and trauma. Justice has now been served as the perpetrators face prison sentences.

Jadiel Williams-Douglas, 35, from Luton, was sentenced to 27 months imprisonment at Aylesbury Crown Court on February 19. He pleaded guilty to three counts of assisting an offender linked to the violent acid assault.

The main attacker, known only as Raymond, received a life sentence with a minimum term of nine years at Harrow Crown Court last December. He admitted to two counts of grievous bodily harm and one count of actual bodily harm after dousing the family with acid.

Raymond’s capture was aided by diligent police work. A Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) identified him, and clothing worn during the attack was discovered at his residence, which was crucial evidence in securing his conviction.

Williams-Douglas was arrested at his home after being connected to the getaway vehicle used in the attack. Detective Inspector Jack Stilwell, who led the investigation, stated, “This sentencing marks the end of a lengthy investigation. Although the investigation is over, the victims will continue to endure the physical and psychological trauma of this horrendous attack.”

Neither Raymond nor Williams-Douglas provided any explanation for their motives, leaving the victims to cope with the devastating consequences of the assault.
