Kent Police made a grim discovery at Barton’s Point Coastal Park on the Isle of Sheppey at 4:35pm on Thursday, 2 October 2025.
Officers confirmed the deceased is a woman. While formal identification is still pending, her family has been informed. She is believed to be the 37-year-old from Sheerness who went missing on Tuesday, 30 September.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. The case is being referred to the coroner as the investigation continues.
