A ruthless county lines drug dealer operating a heroin and crack cocaine racket between London and Oxford has been jailed for five years and six months.

Damion Williams, 28, of Mayfield Road, Ilford, pleaded guilty at Oxford Crown Court on Friday, 8 November, to charges related to the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

The conviction follows a police raid on 25 May 2022, when Thames Valley Police targeted Williams’ home. Officers suspected he was the mastermind behind the infamous Marlow Line drug operation.

During the raid, police seized two mobile phones. One was confirmed as the active drug line used to sell crack cocaine and heroin, while the other was used to coordinate drug runners in Oxford.

Williams was arrested at the scene, charged the same day, and remained in custody until sentencing.

Detective Constable Ben Jones from the Drugs Focus Taskforce said: “Williams accepted he played a leading role in supplying drugs through the Marlow Line. I hope his conviction sends a clear message — if you’re involved in county lines drug dealing, we will investigate, track you down, and bring you to justice.”

The Marlow Line is one of thousands of county lines drug networks where urban gangs exploit vulnerable people to distribute drugs in smaller towns. The National Crime Agency reports there are over 2,000 active county lines across the UK.

This latest conviction highlights the ongoing police efforts to crack down on drug dealers who poison communities and ruin lives.
