A tragic crash has claimed the life of a young motorcyclist in Doncaster. Twenty-year-old Alex Anderson died in a collision on the A18 on January 16th.

The accident happened just after 7.40pm on High Levels Bank when Alex’s Aprilia Tuono collided head-on with a red Skoda Octavia.

The 22-year-old driver of the car sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Alex Anderson was originally from South Wales but had been living and working in North Lincolnshire, around Scunthorpe and Immingham, for the past 18 months.

On January 29th, Alex’s family shared a heartfelt photo and expressed their devastation at his sudden passing. They said: “We are devastated by Alex’s death and wish to thank the emergency services and everyone for their support at this time.” They also extended thanks to all who have supported them during this tragic period.

The police investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing. Authorities have appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision, has footage, or any other information to come forward.
