West Midlands Police have charged three individuals with murder after the body of Thomas Niven was found in a wheelie bin in Coventry.

Thomas Niven was discovered dead inside a wheelie bin at a park off Daimler Road earlier this week. Police responded quickly and arrested Tammy Sturdy, 45, Camron Sturdy, 21, and Shane Turkington, 37, all from Coventry.

The three suspects have been remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Specially trained officers are providing support to Thomas’s family during this difficult time. Police have appealed for anyone with information about the incident, referencing incident number 4148 of 13 March, to contact them on 101. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

“Our thoughts remain with everyone who knew Thomas at this tragic time,” said police.
